Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 11th, Original Thinkers, Telluride Science and the Telluride Medical Center Foundation will present the third movie in the Film for Thought Series. Of Medicine and Miracles follows oncologist Dr. Carl June as he works to find a cure for cancer in time to save five-year old Emily Whitehead. It’s a gripping, inspiring and deeply human film, directed by Oscar winner Ross Kaufman who will join in conversation after the screening via zoom. This event is free and open to the public. Doors at 5:30 p.m., at the Telluride Science & Innovation Center (formerly The Depot).

KOTO’s Citizen Advisory Board meets tomorrow, Tuesday, March 11th, at 6:15 p.m. at the Hotel Telluride. The public is invited to attend. The agenda will be posted at koto.org when available.

Mountainfilm for Locals returns on Wednesday, March 12th – Doors at 5 p.m., Show at 5:30 p.m. at Wilkinson Public Library! This free, bilingual event is open to the public and features a lineup of powerful short films that celebrate adventure, community, and culture. Enjoy delicious food catered by La Cocina de Luz while you experience inspiring stories from around the globe, all with Spanish and English subtitles. Join us for an evening of film, connection, and community!

Telluride Gold Kings play their FREE weekly show on Thursday, March 13th, from 6-8 p.m. at the historic Sheridan Bar. Can’t make Thursday’s show? Catch the Gold Kings for a FREE après ski set Friday, March 14th, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Peaks Resort.

N3 Teen Music & Theater Club's performance of Don Zolidis' play "10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse" premiers Thursday, March 13th, for three shows only. Cast members from Norwood-Naturita-Nucla (N-Cubed) are the Survivors and the Zombies, demonstrating ways to not get eaten. Brock Benson directing. Mountain Lodge Telluride is bringing back the golden era of après-ski with Après Chalet, a retro European ski party on Saturday, March 15th. From 3 to 9 p.m., guests can enjoy a lively atmosphere with music from DJ Castle & Flowmatic and a live performance by Après Nova. Guests are encouraged to dress in their best retro ski attire, with the best costume winning dinner at The View. Free entry, no reservations required—just bring your après spirit.
